Vintage 1771 astronomy engraving showing eclipses of Jupiter's moons

This diagram is from the first edition of the Encyclopaedia Britannica, in 1771. It illustrates (supposedly) an eclipse of one of Jupiter's moons. The central sun is fabulous and it'd be great for any history of science or astronomy or even astrology article too I expect.
