Sheep live happy lives and are outdoors all summer. In Norway this can be quite some time during the light summer. The sheep mother wears a bell, mostly because the sheep are easier to retrieve when you can hear where they are, but also her kids follow the sound. They always check to see what's happening to be sure their lambs are safe
