Mrs. (ioldbach is also featuring some extra large white and yellow Turner mums. The entire shop has been re])ainted and a splendid season is antic ijiated. At H. V. Rarr's store, Miss Edith Diffenhach is store manager. She has been Avith Mr. Barr for fourteen years. Charles Durand is head salesman, de- signer and decorator. He was formerly with Habermehl's, of Philadelphia. The store has been remodeled and ranks witli the foremost stores in the state. A recent visitor to the county was E. C. Tipton, of the McCallum Co., Pittsburgh, who called on the peony consignors who ship to that house. The firm of Suter, Bauman & Cald- well has been dissolved. Frank A. Suter has withdrawn from the firm. C. S. Loefller, Lititz, Pa., has sold his greenhouse establishment to Harry Gir- win, formerly with the Florex Gardens, North Wales, but more recently grower for Maurice J. Brinton, Christiana, Pa. At Elias LeFever's, on Lincoln high- way, just east of Lancaster, the King Construction Co. is erecting a new steel-frame greenhouse, 44x175. Mr. LeFever was formerly located near Whitmer, but. upon selling his green- houses to R. C. Smallwood, he moved to his present location. This new building is the nucleus of a range that is des- tined to be one of the show places of Ijiincaster county. H. K. R. Columbia, S. C.
