Privoz - is the main food market of Odessa. It was built in 1827 and was part of the Stary (old) bazaar (also called the Volny (free) market). It name he took from the Russian word "bring" (privozit ') because in this market traded imported goods "on wheels", not unloading horse driven carts. Now there is a valid part Privoz recent history.
