Plate from Hogarth's Works published 1883 by Oliphant, Anderson & Ferrier. Also sometimes known as the Stage Coach. The election sign saying no old baby is probably a reference to Richard Child who was standing for parliament. The changing of the Inn name from Old Angel inn to Old Angle in is no doubt a comment on the morality of politicians.
