A grenadier sabre, circa 1730. Slightly curved blade with narrow fullers on both sides. Obverse and reverse sides are etched with crowned "AR" monograms. Brass hilt with a shell shaped side guard plate, knuckle bow, and thumb ring. Grooved, cast brass hilt. Original leather scabbard with brass mountings. Blade pitted, worn by polishing.
