Notre Dame Cathedral sits in the centre of Ho Chi Minh City, formally known as Saigon. The cathedral was built in the 18th century. It is decorated with stain glass windows although ther eis little to show these up from the outside. The exterior of the Cathedral is used by many wedding photographers on the pre-wedding shoots. Ho Chi Minh City was formally known as Saigon and Prey Nokor before that. It was the capital of Southern Veitnam and CochincHina earlier. It is located close to the Mekong Delta area and has been under Kymer and French rule previously.
