The Croatian town of Hrvatska Kostajnica is situated at the Una River at the border to Bosnia-Herzegovina. Shortly after beginning of the Yugoslav wars the town became part of Republic of Serbian Krajina until 1995, when it was reconquered by Croatian troops. The inner City was heavily damaged and the catholic churches were destroyed. This picture shows the devastated Davor Trstenjak-Street and the reconstructed Catholic church seven years after the war, in November 2002.
