The automobile waswrecked, the woman was injured, and twoof the mules were killed. A court actionwas later filed against the owner of themules, and the woman was awankdsubstantial damages. It would seem at first thought that theowner of the mules rather than the auto-mobilisl was entitled to damages; but thejudge must ha\e known something aboutmules and undiTstnod the odds.
