King's Lynn, known until 1537 as Bishop's Lynn and locally as Lynn is a seaport and market town on the west Norfolk coast, 98 miles north of London. The historic medieval area has a wealth of stunning buildings. Adjacent to the Guildhall is the Old Goal House. Hanging over the entrance to the museum are prison artifacts.
