Pods unusually large and well filled with large peas of excellent quality. We consider it an improvement on the Tele- phone, from which it is evidently a selec- tion. It comes into bearing earlier than the Champion of England, and will doubt- less become a standard sort. Height, 3£ ft. Pkt., 15 cts. 75 cts. per qt. TELEPHONE. Immensly productive, of the finest qual- ity, and excellent sugary flavor; vines very strong, averaging 18 to 20 pods per stalk; the pods are of large size and closely packed with large, delicious peas.
