Despite the rainy New Mexico weather, members of Team Holloman came together to run a 5K in honor of the Air Force Birthday at Holloman Air Force Base, , Sept. 18. On Sept. 18, 1947, the Air Force was officially recognized as an independent military service, leaving behind its former role, the Army Air Corps.
