The nameLesser Pettychaps has been conferred on it by some of theold writers, but it is confused with other small warblers,such as the Chiff-chaff. The title of Beam Bird (LathamSyn. p. 413), is also a mistake ; see Garden Warbler. ORPHEAN WARBLER. Sylvia orphea {Tejum.). Accidental visitant from Central and Southern Europe, and NorthernAfrica, of extremely rare occurrence.
