Liions came from behind to equalise from a free kick. Towards the last minutes of the match a St Joseph player was held by defenders and sanctioned with his second yellow card. The match started with controvesy after officials refused to allow what they considered an unregisterrd player to play. Lions argued the player was registered but an error had taken place Calm ruled in the end after threats of pulling the team off the pitch. A member of the Lions team waa also thrown out by officials seconds before they match also saw Gibraltar's national team heroic keeeper play his former team mates aftee his move to St Joseph.
