Courses and Diplomas Three courses are offered: The Regular, The ProfessionalCourse for High School Graduates, and The Elementary Course. 1. The Regular Course. This course consists of one year pre-paratory, three years academic, and two years professionalwork (see page 34). Upon the completion of this course the full diploma is diploma entitles the holder to a Collegiate Certificate, given a>pi O. State Female Normal School 25 by the State Board of Examiners and Inspectors. This certifi-cate continues in force for ten years and may be renewed for tenyears. 2. The Professional Course for High School Graduates. Thiscourse is practically the two professional years of the RegularCourse, with some modifications to meet the conditions. Upon the completion of this course the full diploma is awardedto those graduates who come from four year high schools, andthe professional to those who come from approved three yearhigh schools. The professional diploma entitles the holder to a professionalcertificate, given by the State Board of Examiners and Inspec-tors. Tliis certificate continues in force for seven years andmay be renewed for seven years. 3. The Elementary Course. This course is arranged to meetthe need of a large number of students who cannot remain inschool long enough to complete the Regular Course, but wishsome
