Length 20 to 21 ; breadth between pronotal angles 12 to 13 millim. Hah. India {Vwnna Mus.). Ceylon {Green). The specimen figured is a typical one kindly forwaided to me for that purpose from Vienna by Dr. Ilandlirsch ; Stals habitat * India Orientalis is vague. I have received the species through Mr. Green from Ceylon. 7,/^^/. Fig. 137.—Aiiiblyeara gladlaforia. 218 PENTATOMID.^. Division NEZARIA. In the yezaria the pronotal angles are not prockiced hut arerounded or subprominent, thus differing from the previous abdomen is always more or less distinctly spined at base, andthe head is moderately narrowed to apex and more or less sinuatedat the lateral margins. The genus Catacanthvs, which is here included, is not strictlyhomogeneous, though agreeing in the divisional characters. Inarranging the whole of the subfamily, I should place it in a groupof genera not found in the fauna of British India, but consider itinexpedient to here make a division for a single geuus. Siinojpsis of Genera. A. Abdomen obtusely or tuberculously spinous at base. a. Lateral margins of pronotum not, or, rarely, very slightly, retlexed. a. Abdomen not furrowed. a. Head thickly pmictate ; abdomen punctate Nkzak.\, p. 219. b. Head very sparsely punctate ; abdomen subriigose, not punctate Zaxgis, p. 221. b.
