Dur-ing its operations with the FourthDivision the battalion performed itsmission in a manner which elicitedhigh praise. On October 6 the Thirty-thirdDivision was transferred from theThird American Corps to the Seven-teenth French Army Corps (GeneralHenri Claudel) which attacked eastof the Meuse on the 8th.
