He ceased speaking, lay back on his pillow, andhis grip on my hand commenced toslacken. I removed my hand from hisclasp. He gasped two or three timesfor his breath, and just as the sunwent down behind the western moun-tains, the soul of Martin Harris passedinto the Great Beyonds. This testimony was witnessed byJ. E. I am thankful forhaving the privilege of being an am-bassador for my Father in Heaven totell the many unrealising people ofthe world of the restoration of theoriginal Church of Jesus Christ herein these latter days. There are numer-ous reasons for which I feel so verythankful right now while I am servinghere in the mission field. Perhaps the greatest reason for myhappiness in this way is the fact thatthe Lord has enriched my life with awonderful wife, who is giving meencouragement while I am out is also growing and progressingfrom this experience. The courtship which we enjoyedbefore I came out here was a verynormal one. It just seemed that wewere meant for each other, and thatshe was the girl that I had chosen tobe my wife before I came to thisworld. With such common understand-ing and mutual desires as we had wedecided to exchange vows before weseparated and I left on my mission.
