Great Horned Owl family 2

Some months ago, I notices a HUGE nest with a hawk perched inside. On this trip, instead of the hawk I fully expected to be there, I was surprised to find a great horned owl with at least one growing owlet. Davis Road, maybe thirty meters from the nest, is how I intended getting to Whitewater Draw, a popular birding destination, and water source for birds and other wildlife.
