Army Ambulance Service, and was on the Italian front withthis section. He was promoted to the rank of first sergeant, and transferredto Provisional Section C. McGee was awarded the Italian Cross of War. Heparticipated in the final major operation on the Italian front. McGOWAN, JAMES R., enlisted in the U. S. Naval Reserve Force April24, 1918, and was sent to Wissahickon Barr
