The Fairbairn patented design steam crane in Bristol docks with the M shed museum and other cranes in the background. Designed in the 1870's lifting 35 tons and loading it directly onto a railway wagon from a ship. Built by local company Stothert and Pitt it is the only surviving example of this design.
