Peduncles erect, axillary, 1-1 ^ inches long, growing out as the fruitripens, 1-flowered, calyx tube globose, lobes linear, obtuse, 5-partite, but by the frequent union of three lobes, 3-partite, lobeslong, very narrow, round at top. Anthers glabrous, united round the styleand supported by the filaments. Capsule ovoid, \-\ inch long. Hah.—Lake Ohou Mountains; alt., 5,000 feet on loose shingle.—Buchanan and McKay, 1882.
