ABUNDANTLY PREPARED AT ALL TIMES Edwards Floral Hall Company 1716 Padfic Avenue ATLANTIC CITY, NEW JERSEY Nurseries: Mediterranean and South Carolina Aves. Member Florists' Telegraph Delivery Ass'n Germantown and Chestnut Hill ORDERS Carefully executed with taste and promptness. FRANK R. HASTINGS 8 West Chelten Avenue, Germantown, Philadelphia, Pa. Massiilon, Ohio A. WEAVER '^f Florist in Rotary COUNCIL BLUFFS, lA. HERMAN BROS. CO. Leading Retail Florists 10 Pearl St. tiful clear scarlet; 36-12, salmon, clear and distinct, darker than Lady North- cliffe, a great producer; 34-13, a nice variegated, penciled with carmine, a big cropper; 45-13, a good scarlet; 119- 12, a new shade of shell pink; 113, a good crimson; 81-13, a fringed pure white, similar to White Wonder; 116-12, a beautiful fringed light pink; 107-12, of Gloriosa type. Some of these are likely to be heard from again. Rosalia, Laddie and Dorner's seedling No. 148 attracted much favorable no- tice. Pink Sensation seemed to be blooming freely for so large a flower. Itosette, Yellow Prince, Doris, the lat- ter a fine, new crimson now being dis- seminated, of a glowing shade; Pink Delight, Matchless, Beacon, Beuora and Gloriosa were all fine. Glori- osa still holds its own here. Nancy looked well and seems destined to dis- place Pink Delight. A good general line of stock for the retail trade, such as freesias, snapdragons, marguerites, mignonette, etc., is grown h' .-e, and everything looked well. After leaving Mr. Goddard's, the es- tablishment of W. R. Nicholson was vis- ited. Carnations are the leading crop here and it would be hard to find finer beds of Alice, Matchless, Rosette, Beacon, Good Cheer, Benora, Pink De- light and Ward, than are to be seen here. A crimson seedling, No. 51, took everyone's eye and looked like a winner. Belle Washburn was doing well. The mignonette here, always fine, seems this year to be better than ever and was an pyo-opener to man
