A long flintlock pistol, Pito Fiorentino, Brescia, circa 1680 Octagonal to round smooth-bore barrel in 14 mm calibre with cannon muzzle and midrib. Chiselled mascaron and inscription "LAZARO LAZARIN" over the chamber. Flintlock chiselled in relief and signed "Pito Fiorentino". Beautifully carved walnut stock with iron furniture chiselled with a floral relief, sculptural mascaron on the buttcap. The opposite side of the lock plate with monster heads open-work.
