President Ngo Dinh Diem of South Vietnam. In office between 26th October 1955-2nd November 1963, and led the effort to create the Republic of Vietnam. Diem was anti-communist, and a devout Roman Catholic, and used religiously led policies to oppress the Buddhist majority amongst the Montagnard Natives. Lived between 1901-1963.
