Orchid flowers (Neottianthe cucullata). The white and pink-spotted petal on each flower is the lip, a specialised petal that attracts pollinators. This orchid is found from eastern Europe to Asia, as far as Japan. It is a terrestrial orchid (one that grows in the ground). There are more than 30,000 species of orchids worldwide, many of which are grown as ornamental flowers.
