The Oklahoma National Guard welcomed the newest general officer to its organization, Feb. 28, 2017, during a promotion ceremony held at the Oklahoma State Capitol. Brig. Gen. Louis Wilham was promoted to the rank of brigadier general where he currently serves as the assistant adjutant general for the Oklahoma Army National Guard, as well as the executive officer for the Oklahoma Military Department, the state agency responsible for the administration of the Oklahoma National Guard.
