Photo essay from hospital. Pedicure care at the Corentin Celton hospital (Issy-les-Moulineaux, France) on the corn of a diabetic patient's foot. Toe orthosis (toe splint) in silicon elastomer. In a diabetic person, any wound on the foot (corn, ingrown nail, ...) can degenerate very quickly into perforating ulcer. A particular follow-up in pedicure-chiropody is then instaured.
