Entrance to culture centre on the Bourtzi Fortress, Skiathos Town Skiathos
The Bourzi fortress was built on it in 1207 by the aristocratic Ghizi family. The statue of ALEXANDROS PAPADIAMANTIS at the entrance. Skiathos is a small island in the Aegean Sea belonging to consists of the main town, Skiathos town Skiathos is the westernmost island in the Sporades group of islands. The mainland of Greece along with Magnesia are to the west. The name of the island dates back to ancient times.
