It is related thatGeorge, fifth Lord Seton, declined the dignity of earldom,being unwilling to forego what he considered a great distinc-tion, and that his accomplished sovereign commemorated tnefact in the following lines: Sunt Comites, Ducesque alii, sunt denique Reges,Setoni Dominium, sit satis esse mihi.
