The new Polyantha or Fairy Eoses are a beautiful class of dwarf everblooming Roses frorn Japan, and few plants that come from that Flowery Land can equal them in unique beauty and profusion of bloom. They are quite hardy in our climate, of dwarf, compact growth and everblooming, each branch bearing a cluster of from ten to twenty-five flowers, and each flower a gem in itself. The flowers are very delicate in color and graceful in the arrangement of petals, while in fragrance they rival the most delicious Tea Rose. Price 20 cts. each; 3 for 50 cts.; 8 for $ Clotilde Soupert. Begins to flower when only four inches in height, and continues to bloom throughout the season. The flowers are borne in clusters, very double, handsomely formed, and of rather large size ; the outer petals are pearly white, shading to a center of rosy pink. See illustration, page 163. Gloire de Polyantha. The color is a bright, rosy pink, with a red ray through each petal. This Rose is very distinct and beautiful, flowering in large clus- ters. For pots for winter blooming no plant can surpass it. George Fernet. Flowers bright, rosy pink, with petals beautifully rayed and reflexed; soft and pleasing. Jeanne Drivon. Flowers are the largest of any of the Polyantha class. Color pure white ; growth bushy. Paquerette. The flowers are pure white, of the most perfect shape; about one and one half inches in diameter, flowering in clusters. Perle d'Or. The buds are a striking shade of apricot and of perfect form; when the flower is open it is • only semi-double, the petals finely rayed and reflexed. Mad'elle Cecile Bruner.
