A pontoon bridge was constructed by the 32nd Engineers to facilitate American traffic across the Moselle River in Treis, Germany. This photograph, numbered 40917, captures the bridge in action. Taken on December 12, 1918, the image was sent to Sgt. S. McAuley of the Signal Corps on February 26, 1919.
