THE first quarterly Stake Confer-ence, held on September 6th and7th in the Auckland Chapel, was amemorable occasion for the 265thStake of the Church of Jesus Christof Latter-day Saints and the firstStake of the Church to be organizedin the Southern Hemisphere. Thetheme carried throughout the confer-ence was: Missionary Work. Pre-siding over the Conference were StakePresident George R.
