Interesting pattens and shapes created by the leading lights of high Dovercourt lighthouse from old Victorian cast iron work


The two iron towers were built by Trinity House 1863 to aid navigation into the River Orwell on which the busy ports of Felixtowe and Harwich are located. They are a 6 Legged tower painted black 14 metres high. They were used until 1917 to guide ships around Landguard Point
