A C-130 Hercules with the 934th Airlift Wing of Minneapolis-Saint Paul Air Reserve Station, Minn., approaches the Badger Drop Zone on South Post on July 8, 2015, to complete an airdrop at Fort McCoy, Wis. The wing regularly uses the drop zone for airdrop operations, which in turn prepares aircrews for overseas airdrop operations. The 934th’s mission is to fly C-130H cargo aircraft, delivering both cargo and personnel. Aeromedical evacuation of patients within the theater of operations is another facet of the wing’s mission.
