The right hind limb is drawn upward by means of twooverhead pulleys and the right inguinal region is thoroughlyopened. The posterior confining strap or girth marked (D), inFigure 198, has been released and dropped out of the way andthe position of the patient made secure by fixing the tail to theupper border of the table.
