Contractors with MDM Construction of Rockford, Ill., work on the new Emergency Operations Center on Feb. 1, 2019, at Fort McCoy, Wis. MDM Construction was awarded a contract of $1,506,000 to construct the new center. The contractor broke ground the first week of November 2018. Construction will continue through most of the 2019 with an expected completion in the fall.
