Pictured in his Nelson New Zealand workshop. Brian Flintoff is a master bone carver whose work is held on Marae throughout Aotearoa New Zealand. And in private and public collections throughout the world. A founder member of Te Haumanu, a group dedicated to the revival of Maori instrument making and playing, he is also now recognised as one of Aotearoa's (New Zealand) pre eminent makers of Maori instruments.
