More than three million people were expected in Avenida Paulista, São Paulo on June 23rd, during the 23rd edition of the LGBT Pride Parade. Under the theme “50 years of Stonewall,” this was the first Gay Parade since the election of Jair Bolsonaro, an openly homophobic president.
