Original early 1900's era postcard of group of children outside wearing fancy dress, one man appears to be dressed as Charlie Chaplin or could just be fashion of the day. Circa 1919


One of the adults at the back appears to be dressed as Charlie Chaplin by 1918, he was one of the world's best-known figures so postcard possibly dates from around this era. Photographer Frederick Christopher - Collins' Yeovil Directory listed him in 1907 and the Post Office Directory of 1919 was his final trade listing. Frederick Christopher died in Crewkerne on 22 February 1925.
