Garden of Eden. Engraving of Adam and Eve, the supposed first-ever people, in the Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve took an apple from the Tree of Knowledge which was offered by the Devil in the form of a serpent. Adam and Eve were later cast out from the Garden of Eden into the world for eating the fruit and had to fend for themselves in hardship.
