'Metropolitan Ostriches' - Yu Zhaoyang (China). The originals, computer graphically designed by the Chinese artist, look into the windows of a skyscraper. The vice-president of the Province of Siena, Alessandro Pinciani had the idea of placing them among cypress trees. The two figures were created in aluminium by the company Essemme from Colle Val d’Elsa, then painted by Maurizio Fusi. They measure metres and are anchored in cement bases. The work is positioned along the road to Catignano between Pievasciata and Ponte a Bozzone.
