1915 Burrell Steam Showman's Road Locomotive Reg:G6470, Nero


"Nero" left the Thetford works in 1915 as a special heavy duty 5 NHP engine to the order of a well known circus and menagerie proprietors, Bostock & followed a previous order two years earlier for a virtually identical engine, which they named "Rajah"- the latter being named after their prized Bengal tiger and "Nero" after their favorite lion.
