The other salient facts of the case were asfollow : — 1. Fits commencing with twitching of the right angle of the mouth, and followed by paralysis of the lower part of the right face. 2. Gradual extension of the paralysis to the right upper and lower extremities. No hemianaesthesia. 3. Slow speech. No tender spot on cranium. 4. Severe frontal headache, vomiting, and double optic neuritis. First Operation.—A drainage tube was inserted into the cyst, with the result thatall the symptoms were relieved.
