Burrfish (Cychichthys orbicularis) are often sufficiently friendly and inquisitive to allow divers to photograph them with ease. Egyptian Red Sea.

Individuals of this species are often sufficiently friendly and inquisitive to allow divers to approach them, which facilitates close-up photography. When they are alarmed, they inflate themselves with water, becoming round like a balloon with their sharp spines erect. Divers are discouraged from deliberately disturbing them with a view to witnessing such behaviour as it stresses the animal.
