The Yards is the former Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Rail Yards complex. This historic structure, now almost 100 years old is in state of disrepair. It was once a hub of industrial activity, and is a major industrial historic site. The vaulted wooden and steel ceilings, green and yellow stained windows, and industrial architecture offer has been the site used in movies. The site consists of eighteen surviving buildings erected between 1915 and 1925.
