He was a true patriot and gave his voice for everyreform that he believed would lead his country on to itsgreat mission. In 1812, he and his three brothers respond-ed to the call, and the early close of the war permittedtheir safe return to their families. George Siggins was afirm friend and admirer of Abraham Lincoln.
