Despite all difficulties we were out early and all day on the open-ing of the hunting season but did nothingmore than get acquainted with the lay ofthe country though we did see a fewtracks. Xext day we divided our forces, Jimand I striking northwest and Les hunt-ing by himself. We came across a buckstracks and trailed him for some time but.
