The storage cistern already referred to will be made of con-crete, and as it is 15 ft. in depth the bottom of the cistern willbe about 10 ft. below the water level at high tide, and hencemust be constructed to withstand a water pressure of about600 lbs. per sq. ft. First the excavation for the walls will bemade to near the water line, and then the concrete walls builtin to make a concrete ring. After the walls are constructed to.
