Joint Base San Antonio members take part in the Excellence in Competition Pistol Shoot, Aug. 27, 2021, at JBSA Chapman Annex, Texas. Personnel must earn at least 30 credit matches, either national or combat, and may be awarded multiple badges if they earn the required points. The Air Force awards EIC badges for excellence in individual competitions only. Points can be earned through competitions held by other services or in the private sector and count as credit toward the award of the appropriate distinguished badge.
